About Me

People have always been at the heart of my work.

Hi, I’m Callum. I started my career as a Drama Teacher, running a theatre school and helping young people develop their confidence, discover their abilities and perform. From there, I moved into the corporate BPO world, where my focus shifted to training, learning design and capability development.

While the environment changed, what I loved about the work didn’t.
I love seeing something in people that they have yet to see in themselves and helping them uncover it.

My background in theatre and performance continues to influence how I approach learning today. I believe learning should take people on a journey, create energy, encourage participation and give people the opportunity to practice, make connections and discover the learning for themselves.

Different stage.
Same purpose.

Theatre will always be a part of me

Some of the work I’m most proud of happened long before I entered corporate learning. Through theatre education, I had the opportunity to work with young performers, helping them develop their confidence, skills and craft. Seeing some of those young people go on to establish professional careers in theatre and television across Australia and the United States remains incredibly special to me.

It also taught me something I’ve carried throughout my career.

People often have more potential than they realise. Sometimes they just need the opportunity, confidence and support to discover it.
